The above photo is of the Apple Tree in the middle of the backyard.
Last couple weeks we've talked about other things, things other then what is "Welshtown Haven". It is good to talk about the local area; however, recently our old mechanism for posting "Blogs" changed. Our older "Blogs" can be found in "Facebook" in a public group "Welshtown Haven - Why?", feel free to review them if you wish.
To the best of our knowledge, our property has not changed much over the last couple years. I'd expect a frantic phone call from our property manager if any material difference cropped up. This being said, the pictures taken back in 2018 should still be valid.

What do we have inside that house? A couple weeks ago we posted about the evolution of the "Front Hall". In that Blog, it can be seen that the house was taken down to studs and rebuilt. The wiring, plumbing and heating are all new(er). The bulk of the heavy lifting was completed about 3 years ago now. The house is heated with a Forced Air, Oil Fired Furnace.
Given the use of Oil, the Water Heater also uses Oil. Yes, one can enjoy an (almost) endless hot shower any time of year. Tests have been performed where the Washing Machine is filling up, the Kitchen Sink is being filled, all while some poor sot is attempting to take a shower. The only problem encountered was the water became to HOT after a bit and cold water needed to be added.
The water for the house is from a Drilled Well and thankfully it is into the local aquifer. A few years ago, South Shore suffered a serious drought. Many local residence wells ran dry while cold water remained available for Welshtown Haven. We've had the water tested and a filtration system installed to pull out the Iron and Manganese.
Technical footprint consists of Satellite TV, a PS/3 and a PC. If you are technically aware of digital media, it should be no problem for you to bring your own viewing or listening content and playing it upon the TV. For I-Net access, a Cellular Data Modem is provided. We ask that I-Net traffic is limited while at Welshtown Haven. Phones are up and running, providing free calling across North America.
If by chance anyone is interested in viewing Welshtown Haven prior to it being renovated, this -->> Link <<-- takes you to a YouTube video taken shortly after we'd taken possession of the property. The house had been taken care of all of its years up until the "Bank" had it. They left the power on and in turn, the pump was left on. Everything was good up to spring thaw as best we can determine. Due to the difficulties of fixing the plumbing and some other deficiencies, the gutting and rebuilt took place.
